Below, you’ll find my top 160 rest-of-season rankings after Week 5 NFL action, organized into tiers with point values.
Treat these point values like a trade chart and you’ll be pleasantly surprised to find you can’t trade away three bad players and turn them into Christian McCaffrey — a common issue with most other trade charts.
The bottom of this article contains the full trade chart, with all four positions (QB, RB, WR, TE) included side-by-side.
If you have start-sit, trade, or any other general fantasy questions, join our FREE Discord.
Fantasy Football Trade Values Tiers
Tier 1: 125 Points
QB | RB | WR | TE |
- | Christian McCaffrey | Tyreek Hill | - |
- | - | Ja'Marr Chase | - |
- Among this group, McCaffrey is the most untouchable, given the position he plays and his recent fantasy output.
Tier 2: 80 Points
QB | RB | WR | TE |
- | Bijan Robinson | Stefon Diggs | Travis Kelce |
- | Austin Ekeler | Keenan Allen | - |
- | - | Cooper Kupp | - |
- | - | Amon-Ra St. Brown | - |
- | - | A.J. Brown | - |
- | - | Davante Adams | - |
- Travis Kelce hasn’t separated himself from the tight end pack quite like he did last season.
- Bijan Robinson and Austin Ekeler have the potential to enter the top tier, given the state of the running back position.
Tier 3: 65 Points
QB | RB | WR | TE |
Josh Allen | Travis Etienne | Chris Olave | T.J. Hockenson |
Jalen Hurts | Kenneth Walker | Puka Nacua | Mark Andrews |
- | Alvin Kamara | Jaylen Waddle | - |
- | Tony Pollard | - | - |
- | Jonathan Taylor | - | - |
- | David Montgomery | - | - |
- | D'Andre Swift | - | - |
- | Josh Jacobs | - | - |
- | Joe Mixon | - | - |
- Travis Etienne has taken over the Jacksonville Jaguars’ backfield right as their offense has started to click more.
- Josh Allen and Jalen Hurts entered Tier 3 after consistent production the past month. Neither of their offenses appears to have reached their full potential yet.
- David Montgomery won’t stop scoring touchdowns.
- Puka Nacua looked rock solid in Cooper Kupp’s Week 5 return and maintained high trade value.
Tier 4: 50 Points
QB | RB | WR | TE |
Justin Herbert | Saquon Barkley | Calvin Ridley | - |
Patrick Mahomes | James Cook | CeeDee Lamb | - |
Lamar Jackson | Breece Hall | Justin Jefferson | - |
Justin Fields | Kyren Williams | DJ Moore | - |
- | Derrick Henry | DK Metcalf | - |
- | De'Von Achane | DeVonta Smith | - |
- Justin Fields leaps up several tiers after back-to-back 30-point fantasy showings. The Chicago Bears’ offensive line has performed admirably, all things considered.
- Kyren Williams has the workload of Tier 3 running backs, but concerns over his lack of a track record and draft capital are keeping him at the top of Tier 4.
- Breece Hall jumps into this tier after a massive workload in Week 5.
- De’Von Achane falls to the bottom of this tier after suffering a knee injury. Should he go on injured reserve, he’ll fall into Tier 5. Were he fully healthy, he’d be near Alvin Kamara in Tier 3.
- Justin Jefferson heads to IR and in doing so, falls from Tier 1 to Tier 4.
- DeVonta Smith will drop into Tier 5 if the bad outings continue.
Tier 5: 30 Points
QB | RB | WR | TE |
Tua Tagovailoa | Aaron Jones | Brandon Aiyuk | Sam LaPorta |
- | Isiah Pacheco | Deebo Samuel | Darren Waller |
- | Brian Robinson | Amari Cooper | - |
- | Raheem Mostert | Marquise Brown | - |
- | - | Jakobi Meyers | - |
- | - | Michael Pittman | - |
- | - | Jordan Addison | - |
- Isiah Pacheco has had back-to-back weeks dominating the touches in the Kansas City Chiefs backfield.
- Jakobi Meyers is having a career year with the Las Vegas Raiders.
- Jordan Addison’s stock is rising with Jefferson headed to IR.
- Darren Waller had a vintage performance in Week 5 and got bumped from Tier 6 back into Tier 5.
Tier 6: 20 Points
QB | RB | WR | TE |
Matthew Stafford | Rachaad White | DeAndre Hopkins | George Kittle |
- | - | Mike Evans | Evan Engram |
- | - | Tyler Lockett | - |
- | - | Chris Godwin | - |
- | - | Nico Collins | - |
- | - | Tee Higgins | - |
- | - | Christian Kirk | - |
- | - | Zay Flowers | - |
- | - | Christian Watson | - |
- | - | Jerry Jeudy | - |
- | - | Adam Thielen | - |
- | - | George Pickens | - |
- Matthew Stafford has two premier weapons in Kupp and Nacua, and the Los Angeles Rams’ weak defense should keep Stafford busy every week.
- DeAndre Hopkins continues to turn back the clock and has emerged as a high-volume pass catcher for the Tennessee Titans.
Tier 7: 10 Points
QB | RB | WR | TE |
- | Jahmyr Gibbs | Joshua Palmer | Dallas Goedert |
- | Jeff Wilson | Diontae Johnson | Zach Ertz |
- | Rhamondre Stevenson | Garrett Wilson | - |
- | Jerome Ford | Terry McLaurin | - |
- | James Conner | Elijah Moore | - |
- | Dameon Pierce | Gabe Davis | - |
- | Alexander Mattison | - | - |
- | Miles Sanders | - | - |
- Jahmyr Gibbs is one of the tougher players to value. Personally, I’d be okay putting him in Tier 6 based on upside. However, there’s a real chance he sits on your bench the rest of the season, so he’s not someone you should be aggressively trading for.
- Jeff Wilson should return in Week 6, and Achane is recovering from a knee injury.
- Rhamondre Stevenson is in a borderline 50-50 running back committee with Ezekiel Elliott.
- Josh Palmer demonstrated excellent usage in Week 4 without Mike Williams.
- Zach Ertz has averaged 7.5 targets per game and should get a boost when Kyler Murray returns.
Tier 8: 5 Points
QB | RB | WR | TE |
Joe Burrow | Jaylen Warren | Michael Thomas | Jake Ferguson |
Deshaun Watson | Jaleel McLaughlin | Quentin Johnston | Kyle Pitts |
Brock Purdy | Roschon Johnson | Tank Dell | Luke Musgrave |
Trevor Lawrence | Zack Moss | Courtland Sutton | Dalton Kincaid |
Kirk Cousins | Javonte Williams | Jaxon Smith-Njigba | Logan Thomas |
Anthony Richardson | Najee Harris | Romeo Doubs | - |
- | - | Josh Downs | - |
- | - | Rashee Rice | - |
- | - | Jayden Reed | - |
- | - | K.J. Osborn | - |
- If your league mates dropped Quentin Johnston or Jaxon Smith-Njigba because of their Week 5 byes, it would be wise to scoop them up. Rookie wide receivers often take time to develop — remember Amon-Ra St. Brown’s rookie season?
- Roschon Johnson rises with Khalil Herbert’s high ankle sprain.
Tier 9: 3 Points
QB | RB | WR | TE |
Geno Smith | Zach Charbonnet | Jahan Dotson | Cole Kmet |
C.J. Stroud | Tyler Allgeier | Drake London | Hunter Henry |
Russell Wilson | Tyjae Spears | Marvin Mims | Tyler Higbee |
Kyler Murray | Gus Edwards | Jameson Williams | - |
Sam Howell | Chuba Hubbard | Treylon Burks | - |
- | Antonio Gibson | Zay Jones | - |
- | Samaje Perine | Josh Reynolds | - |
- | Justice Hill | Wan'Dale Robinson | - |
- | Emari Demercado | - | - |
- | Keaontay Ingram | - | - |
- There’s a good chance one of the two Arizona Cardinals running backs (Emari Demercado/Keaontay Ingram) rise up into Tier 8 depending on how their usage split goes in Week 6.
- Jameson Williams falls down a couple of tiers after a terrible showing in his 2023 debut.
- Hunter Henry falls down a tier because of the state of the New England Patriots offense.
Tier 10: 1 Point
QB | RB | WR | TE |
Jared Goff | Khalil Herbert | Tutu Atwell | Pat Freiermuth |
Jordan Love | Kendre Miller | Rashid Shaheed | David Njoku |
Daniel Jones | Latavius Murray | Michael Wilson | - |
Dak Prescott | Ezekiel Elliott | Robert Woods | - |
- | Kareem Hunt | Tyler Boyd | - |
- | Joshua Kelley | Brandin Cooks | - |
- | Rico Dowdle | Odell Beckham | - |
- | Kenneth Gainwell | - | - |
- | D'Onta Foreman | - | - |
- | Elijah Mitchell | - | - |
- | AJ Dillon | - | - |
- | Jordan Mason | - | - |
- | Tank Bigsby | - | - |
- | Michael Carter | - | - |
- | Keaton Mitchell | - | - |
- | Dalvin Cook | - | - |
- Kendre Miller has the potential to keep the RB2 job even when Jamaal Williams returns from injury.
